It is through spreading information that we can widen young people’s horizons and make them aware of their rights and possibilities. Internet has made it much easier to both spread and have access to information. This will, however, only benefit young people if they know that the information actually exists, and knows where to look for it. Providing information is therefore a central task for youth work, especially in relation to those young people that are living in deprived areas and/or are not exposed to this kind of information in other ways.
