Alexandra Peca serves as the Head of Democracy & Human Rights at GEYC, a prominent Romanian NGO, where she leads initiatives designed to empower and inspire young people to become active citizens and leaders. With a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and Bachelor’s in International Relations from the University of Bucharest, Alexandra combines her academic expertise with a deep passion for intercultural communication and dialogue.
Over the past seven years, Alexandra has developed and refined her skills as a project manager and facilitator, specializing in non-formal education methods and digital tools. She has worked with diverse groups across cultural contexts, both in-person and virtually, through programs such as Erasmus+ and collaborations with UNICEF and the Renew Europe Group of the European Parliament. Alexandra is committed to fostering youth engagement, advancing civic literacy, promoting digital education, and championing human rights causes, striving to create meaningful and inclusive opportunities for the next generation of leaders.
When she’s not working, Alexandra enjoys immersing herself in books, exploring a wide range of genres that inspire her curiosity and creativity. Her passion for interior design transforms her apartment into a personal canvas, where she experiments with colors, textures, and layouts to create a space that reflects her personality and vision. Alexandra is also an avid traveler and meticulous trip planner, with friends often amazed at her ability to work magic in finding the perfect accommodations anywhere in the world. Whether it’s a charming hidden gem or a unique boutique stay, she takes pride in crafting travel experiences that combine discovery, comfort, and adventure. These hobbies provide her with balance and fulfillment, enriching her life with creativity and fresh perspectives.
