Marija is a dedicated youth worker and social activist hailing from North Macedonia, with over a decade of experience in the field of youth work. After a Master’s degree in Law and completion of the Human Rights Advocates Program at Columbia University in New York, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her projects and team.
Having served as President of the National Youth Council of North Macedonia, the largest youth representative body in the country, Marija witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of youth involvement in decision-making processes. She firmly believes in empowering young people to play an active role at all levels of society.
Both as a project manager and a trainer at DYPALL Network, Marija finds fulfillment in building the capacities of youth in areas such as youth participation, advocacy against hate, and human rights. Her passion lies in directly engaging with young people, and she takes pride in seeing the tangible results of her work. Witnessing young people utilize newly acquired skills, such as expressing their opinions confidently, engaging peers, and advocating for change, brings her immense joy.
Beyond her professional life, Marija’s current interest is digital marketing. She also enjoys exploring new destinations and immersing herself in diverse cultures through her travels. Her commitment to youth empowerment and personal spark for learning and non-formal education continue to drive her impactful work in the field.
