Based in Lviv, Ukraine, Taras Chura is a dedicated expert in youth policy, strategic planning, and digital resilience. Since 2020, he has been a driving force in the youth sector, collaborating with local and national organizations to create sustainable opportunities for young people. Currently, Taras serves as the Program Director for the TVORY! youth center network and holds a key leadership role as the Program Director for “Lviv – European Youth Capital 2025.”
Taras’s journey in youth work is defined by his ability to scale impactful initiatives into national platforms. As the Program Director of MOLODVIZH, one of Ukraine’s largest youth forums, he has consistently transformed complex challenges into dynamic educational and networking spaces. His expertise spans from implementing the EU Youth Guarantee in Ukraine to developing innovative non-formal education curricula and managing large-scale youth engagement projects.
Beyond his practical management experience, Taras bridges the gap between social development and technology. Currently pursuing a PhD in Cybersecurity, he focuses his research on integrating Agile and DevSecOps practices into information security systems. This unique combination of technical rigor and social management allows him to approach youth policy with a modern, data-driven, and secure perspective.
Taras is a firm believer in the transformative power of youth participation as a catalyst for democratic change. Through his work, he is committed to ensuring that the voices of young people are not only heard but become central to building an inclusive, resilient, and forward-looking future for Ukraine within the European community.
