A new edition of Activating Citizens: Municipalities Making Use of the European Solidarity Corps seminar is coming 6 – 7 November 2025, online in Latvia.
The main goal of this seminar is to inspire and support municipalities and local authorities to use the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) as a tool for social inclusion and local engagement. The seminar will explore how the programme can help young people get involved in their communities through volunteering or solidarity projects and how this creates lasting, positive change in local communities.

Participants will come from Europe and the partner regions (Western Balkans, Eastern Partnership Countries, and South Mediterranean countries). Agency for International Programs for Youth of Latvia (National Agency), SALTO European Solidarity Corps (SALTO Resource Centre), and Europe Goes Local are the hosts of this training course.
