Sif has extensive experience in innovative youth work, youth participation, process and project management, international collaboration, as well as working with creative industries and young creative entrepreneurs. She has worked in the youth sector for 26 years, developed new concepts for youth work at the local, regional, and national levels, and led a wide range of projects on behalf of Tromsø Municipality.
These include the development of Tvibit Youth Centre (a 3000 m² hub for young creativity) and support schemes and funding for youth projects. She also served as the project manager for the application process when Tromsø was awarded the title of European Youth Capital 2026, and is not a strategic advisor for True North 2026. Sif is also active in various European networks and serves, among other roles, as Vice-President of ERYICA (European Youth Information and Counselling Agency).
